Cookie Policy

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy describes how Saaslinks.net ("Saaslinks", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in our buyer-side link-building marketplace. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.

We operate a marketplace where SaaS teams fund a wallet, browse vetted sites, order guest posts and link insertions, and track those orders through to indexation. Some cookies are strictly necessary to make that account, wallet, and ordering flow work. Others are optional and only set after you give consent.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as login state or language) over time, so you do not have to re-enter them on every page or visit.

We also use technologies that work in a similar way, and we refer to all of them together as "cookies" in this policy:

  • Local storage and session storage: browser storage we use to keep you signed in and to hold short-lived interface state.
  • Pixels and tags: tiny snippets used by analytics tools to understand page views and events.
  • Software development kits (SDKs): code from third parties (for example, our payment and analytics providers) that may set their own cookies.

Cookies can be "first-party" (set by Saaslinks) or "third-party" (set by a service we use). They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them).

3. Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into three categories. Only essential cookies are set without consent. Analytics and functional cookies are set only after you accept them through our consent banner or privacy controls.

3.1 Strictly necessary (essential) cookies

These cookies are required for the website and marketplace to function. They keep you authenticated, secure your session, protect against fraud and cross-site request forgery, remember your cookie consent choices, and support core actions like funding your wallet and placing an order. You cannot switch these off through our banner because the service would not work without them, but you can block them in your browser settings (see Section 6), with the understanding that parts of the site may break.

3.2 Analytics (performance) cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors find and use Saaslinks so we can improve the product, fix problems, and measure which pages and content are useful. They tell us things like which pages are viewed, how people move through the marketplace, and where errors occur. We treat this data in aggregate wherever possible. Analytics cookies are optional and load only with your consent.

3.3 Functional cookies

These cookies remember choices you make to give you a more tailored experience, such as your display preferences, interface settings, and other non-essential conveniences. They are optional and load only with your consent. Turning them off does not break core functionality but may make the site less personalized.

4. Cookies we use

The table below lists representative cookies and similar technologies by category. Exact cookie names, providers, and lifespans can change as we update our tools and security practices; this table reflects the current categories, typical providers, and durations.

If you want a current, exhaustive list of the specific cookies set on your device, your browser's developer tools (usually under "Application" or "Storage") will show every cookie, its value, and its expiry in real time.

5. Third-party cookies and providers

Some cookies are set by trusted third parties that provide services on our behalf, including our payment processor, our analytics provider, and our error-monitoring tools. These providers may use cookies to deliver and secure their services and to help us understand usage. Their use of any data they collect is governed by their own privacy policies.

Where these providers act as our processors, the relevant terms are described in our Data Processing Agreement and Subprocessors. We do not use cookies to sell your personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising networks that track you across other websites.

You are in control of non-essential cookies, and you can change your mind at any time.

  • Consent banner: when you first visit, you can accept or reject analytics and functional cookies. Essential cookies are always on because the service depends on them.
  • Privacy controls: you can review and update your choices at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. Updating your choices takes effect immediately for cookies we set going forward.
  • Browser settings: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, including essential ones. Helpful instructions are published by Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in, funding your wallet, or placing orders.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: where required, we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). You can learn more about GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org.

Under the EU and UK ePrivacy rules and GDPR, we rely on your consent for analytics and functional cookies and on legitimate operation of the service for essential cookies. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, which are explained in our Privacy Policy and exercisable through Your Privacy Choices.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools, providers, or legal obligations change. When we make material changes, we will update the date shown on this page and, where appropriate, ask for renewed consent through the banner. Please check back periodically to stay informed.
